congratulations on taking that step! I have often felt as you do in my own job. It's not terrible, just not fulfilling. Fortunately the job has an end date as it is just on contract, but unfortunately bills still need to get paid, and I'm afraid I'll have to jump into another not so great position just to stay afloat :/ however, i'm contemplating just not working and trying to make my own way. and as someone who has been consistently flaky these past 4 months, totally feel you on taking a break.
