Got off my plane from Australia to Beijing, China, check coinmarketcap and I'm stunned... another day in the red??
January
January was a terrible month, losing from maximum to minimum 77% of my investment but slowly rose back up. I was absolutely devastated as in January, not only were the markets bad, I made a many bad trades making my situation worse, FOMOing VEN and buying close to the peak was probably my biggest and worst mistake.
After some terrible trades, I decided to all in on COSS, which hasn't really taken off either and my other picks, NEO and ETH which I didn't actually invest in have been doing considerably better than COSS.
I still believe in COSS and their team and I'll be doing a summary of their in-depth interviews soon! They understand that their window for success is fast closing and they really need to pick up their game if they have any chance to be competitive.
February
Not a good start to the month but I have hope it'll pick up. A lot of the regulation FUD is over but now there's Tether and Bitgrail FUD... the FUD just never stops in this bear market haha.
However, surely after the Tether FUD is over things will get better as if Tether is found to be backed by USDT, then well everything is alright. However, if Tether is found to be NOT backed by USDT, then there are two options of what might happen. Read more about it here.
I plan to focus a lot more on Steemit over Feb as I will have a lot more free time here in China. Hopefully, that can keep my mind off the terrible market hahaha
My COSS Prediction for Feb/March
Feb and March is make or break for COSS. It'll either moon or crash to the ground.
They have 7 new developers and a 1 million dollar trading promotion which starts on the 16th of Feb.
They also are working on a new engine that will be (hopefully) able to support 5 million users, which is a milestone Binance just hit.
Come March they will be scheduled to also release fiat deposit and withdrawals and fiat trading pairs.
I'm planning to write a more in-depth article on COSS later tonight!

I think February should bring greener days. The equity markets are noticeably more choppy now and starting to slow down, which will lead to some demand in alternative assets like crpyto. I'm trying to free up some more liquidity to buy this dip further
good point and good idea, i'm 18 years old so i don't have much to liquidate, I'm all in crypto ;)

Buy when people are scared to buy, and sell when people are scared to sell. Simple as that. ;)
I was surprised as well when I looked at the market to see that it was at a market cap of 400 billion. Hopefully we'll see things pick up from here.
things are picking up now, but when it dipped further than 400b, i got a bit scared, especially because my coss fell from 2.50 when i bought it a few weeks ago to 0.40 yesterday!!
I think most of us can relate to the pain of making decisions we regret in the crypto world! I have bought at peak and sold at dips a few times myself :( Don't be disheartened, these are just lessons learnt that will hopefully prevent our future losses. I don't think anybody in the crypto community can say that they made all the right calls. Wishing you and (all of us in this crypto community) flood of green for the rest of the year :)
In my 5 months in crypto, I've bought at a peak and sold at dips for ALL my portfolio over 4 times, yet I'm still around 25 times my initial investment right now!
Hold for long and you'll see the money ;)
COSS looks like a good pick for 2018 .
