Gradual Practice & Gradual Progress

in #blog6 months ago

Hi to all and teacher David Roylance,

I'm new to the group.

I'm struggling with a lot of things. I'm reading the texts and watching the videos and of course my mind went more overboard. I have so many questions and at the same time I'm practicing 'patience'.

And then by still being here, watching , observing, listening to the questions of the students and the answers, like teacher David says drop by drop, I understand some things better.

I'm taking it slow, reflect and breathe...

Thank you all for your open minds and for your sharing. It helps!
Thank you teacher David., I'm grateful to be able to walk the path with your guidance.

Teacher David replies.

Great, just take your time.

When the mind has access to so many new resources that are sharing these Teachings, it can potentially go overboard. But, keep in mind that it is gradual learning and gradual practice that will lead to gradual progress on The Path to Enlightenment.

The mind will oftentimes struggle as it is getting its arms around the comprehensive Teachings shared by The Buddha and is one of the reasons, gradual learning and gradual practice is needed.

And then by still being here, watching , observing, listening to the questions of the students and the answers, like teacher David says drop by drop, I understand some things better. I'm taking it slow, reflect and breathe...

Yes….great, slowly slowly.

There is no rush….you are on your own independently journey to Enlightenment, with a Teacher serving as a guide.

Thank you all for your open minds and for your sharing. It helps!

You are welcome ma’am…pleased to help you and guide you in your journey to Enlightenment.
