We the recent "second phase" said by trump for North Korea, which probably means war. The world is one step closer to the major war. With more tensions in Syria, Russia hysteria in the media seems like we are ever closer to the world war 3.
I'll talk about concrete situations with Syria and North Korea and why big wars shouldn't happen anymore.
First North Korea. I wanna say first that the North Korea regime is extremely bad, from politics to no freedom to its people. North Korea should change, it needs to change. But is it, the best thing to do it by war and even sanctions. I understand the sanctions to some degree and why the USA military is present there. But at the same time that is the reason why they are continuing there nuclear program. They see their military presence as a threat. With recent Olympic games in Seoul, we saw South and North Korea play under the same flag, we saw them talk, even with the heavy tensions with the USA, after a long time, maybe there is better solution. But there is still continuous push for war. China said that if the USA attacks North Korea that it would defend it, and the USA seems like determent to use pre-emptive strike, which could lead to world war 3. Its also worth mentioning that China offered to the USA, 2 times to Obama and once to Trump, that North Korea would stop its nuclear program if the USA removes its military presence from there. North Korea did agree to this, the USA didn't. Even if China doesn't get involved it would still lead to millions of deaths on both sides, and probably lead to the obliteration of Seoul. When it's all over And wouldn't necessarily lead to better lives for North Korean people, and probably worse for the South. The USA should solve this with diplomacy.
Now about Syria. Again I don't agree with Assad regime and especially if chemical weapons use on its own people is true, though i don't think it has enough evidence, definitely should be removed. With the recent headlines of children deaths and suffering over a battle for a region. Yes, that's horrible and needs to stop, but what about the death of civilians that the USA caused with its interference in many other countries. Why it doesn't get even close to the same attention. I think the USA should leave Syria, leave it alone to get rid of its terrorist. And should go to the original deal to leave it to the Syrian people to decide who should lead them, even if its Assad. Why does even USA care about Syria, when its allowing horrors in Yemen.
I don't think anybody wants war, but why our politicians and even mainstream media seemingly pushing for it. I think in any country, most of its people don't want war, especially today when we are more connected than ever. Even if they think war is necessary, its usually for the same reason, to think we need to defend our A country from a B country, while at the same time B country saying that they need to defend them self from A country. We should stop hating each other based on what nationality we are when everything about this come from politics. We should stop letting them divide us. We should not let this happen.
I believe your final thoughts are the most important. "We should stop hating each other based on what nationality we are"
This is so true!
Please read my most recent post. It shares my thoughts on how we humans need to more highly value one another to help end the hatred, violence and wars that are a global threat. I will upvote this post. Please do so for me, as well.
