Some months ago was celebrated in Caracas, Venezuela the Archdiocesan Celebration of Youth ("CAJUV" for its acronym in Spanish "Celebración Arquidicoesana de la Juventud") this celebration is a catholic kind of party where the youth groups of every church in Caracas meet to celebrate the catholic faith, this celebration is one of the many events that shows that the catholic guys can be even funnier than many people thinks. This celebration doesn't have a specific thematic, it change every year, the last year was a giant hike through the Capital city when We could see many young people having a great time enjoying the moment singing or just talking each other, but this year it had a little change, It was not going ti be a simply procession of people. It was going to be a kind of Color Fest.
As a catholic party It started with an Eucharist in the church "Don Bosco" It was a great celebration with young people of every part of the city, a great music group was playing during the mass, It is a tradition that in every CAJUV It is an Eucharist, but the big surprise was going to be after this.
When everything finished in the church It started an authentically "Color Race" every one started to run down the street, there were eighth stations when there were a group of volunteers that were spreading color to everyone.
There were a lot of boys and girls walking and running with the faces full of color, even some elderly people participated in the celebration, I was an open invitation to everyone to participate, there were a lot of groups sharing each other, they wanted to celebrated the joy of being young.
After some blocks walking and running everything finished with a great concert and some dancing groups to completed a great celebration.
All the people who participated in the hike get together to listening and sing very good catholic music at the same time they were dancing a lot.
At the end of the concert every group came back home, I can say It was a great experience because many people from different places of the city meet each other to celebrate and say that the catholic people can make fun things, this kind of celebration wants to be a different thing in the live of the people even for those who are not catholic, this kind of celebrations shows the world that you can go to the church and steel being a young an happy person.
