RE: My Procrastination woes

in #blog4 years ago

I haven't written too much, even though I think I'm good at it. I like drawing and doodling and painting. I procrastinate because projects like illustrations, and specially animations, take a long time to make. First I have to sketch, then make the illustration, then do the animation, and then do the post. Finally I have to try to put it out there so that people can find the work. It's a mountain of work, and sometimes I procrastinate to begin climbing them. But I love it! I have passion for it. Last week I sold my first animation in nftshowroom. That felt amazing, and I wasn't expecting it. I've been working hard for more than a month (after coming back) and things are starting to look up. It's taken years and I'm finally finding the balance. No I see that it doesn't have to take years... It's just about having a healthy balance between creation, participating in other people's work, social networking, and marketing. It's definitely a lot, but it's not a sacrifice.. It's fun. I think boring 8-5 office work is a pain, and this is definitely not it, even though I sometimes spend like 10-12! hahah Keep going, and let that spark turn into a fire. You will do great.

You have a point. Hmmm 🤔 actually, a lot of points! Thank you for the advice. I should really snap out of the optimism that everything could be achieved instantly.

haha yes, it takes a little bit of time to boil, and if it's low fire, the end result is delicious 😉 don't give up and just keep going!

Oh and congrats on the sales!! 🥳🥳🥳
