Will AI Take Over Artists?

in #blog2 years ago (edited)

We all know that feeling when we are stuck in a creative rut, when no matter how hard we try we just can't seem to come up with anything new or exciting. It can be frustrating, and sometimes it can feel like we are never going to get out of that slump. But what if there was a way to jump start our creativity? What if we could use a tool to help us visualise our fantasies and come up with new ideas?

Enter AI generated art.

AI generated art is a new tool that is helping visual artists to break out of their creative ruts and create new and exciting pieces of art. Using only prompt words, the AI can help to visualise our fantasies and come up with new ideas that we may never have thought of before.

How does it work?

The AI uses a process called Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) which pits two neural networks against each other. The first network, the generator, creates new images based on the prompt words that it is given. The second network, the discriminator, then tries to guess if the images that the generator has created are real or fake. As the two networks compete against each other, the generator gets better and better at creating realistic images, and the discriminator gets better at spotting the fake ones.

What does this mean for visual artists?

Simply put, it means that AI generated art can help us to visualise our fantasies and come up with new ideas that we may never have thought of before. It can help us to break out of our creative ruts and create new and exciting pieces of art.

Of course, AI generated art is not going to replace visual artists. It is not going to be able to create works of art that are as complex or emotionally resonant as those created by humans. But what it can do is help us to come up with new ideas and to visualise our fantasies in a way that we may never have been able to before.

So go ahead and create something new and exciting.

AI art is awesome , but because it can do too much make it less than the visual artists by human being.
