RE: The return of my REGULAR posts, and reflections on how and why you should even bother

Making people laugh inside as they read, making them feel like they know you as a person.

The only way I'm able to teach people, is by making stupid jokes about the stuff I write about. That's at least what I keep telling myself.
If people don't enjoy me, then I can, at a last resort, enjoy myself.
And yes, I know this sounds wrong.

Well.... That is you

The expensive joke King.... It's been fun meeting you on the platform

Haha yes exactly. I've spent my whole life getting excited about the stuff I read about, and then massively disappointed when I find even my closest friends have no interest, eyes glazed over. When I was a teacher, this was my cure. I was paid to inspire kids with the crap I know - whether they like it or not.

Now, steem is the next step since the community all enjoy the same kind of content, so I get paid and we share interests. We can enjoy each other in a glorious circle jerk.

Screw real life!
