This magnificent creature is also known as greylag goose or scientifically Anser anser and it's one of the most common species of ducks in Europe which is typical known for the gray color. It can be considered as one of the ancestors of other species of geese which are frequently found and partly this animal can be seen all year round, but this is always dependent on the region and what climate prevails there and if it should be colder, the greylag goose flies to warmer areas to stay there. To overwinter it flies to the south and usually not alone, but in the group and as a diverse being it can not only fly but also swim and run relatively fast and it can be described as relatively independent of the time of day and can be seen during the day or night and as can be seen in these pictures, it feeds mainly on plants. Because of the classic gray color and the stature, the greylag goose is easily recognisable and normally it can be found in small groups and also the life expectancy is high and it can be described as an extremely intelligent or adaptable creature and researchers have found that it is particularly strong in remembering certain patterns or images. In ancient cultures, the greylag goose also already had an important meaning and is deeply anchored in mythology and was often associated with gods and it was also not uncommon that this goose was even kept as a pet and it has also an important meaning in numerous legends or fairy tales.

Thank you so much dear @momins

Goose are so cute to see, they inspire fondness... I never seen a grey one, we have here white ones and people in the countryside use them as guards instead of dogs

It was new to me that some people hold it as a guardian.

How cute and innocent they are and looking beautiful and pretty. I just want to look at them and their actions relax and feels me fresh.
