Hey dear friends, as always, first of all I would like to wish you a pleasant day and hope you were able to have one or the other positive experience! In this post, I would like to talk about Greek mythology and hope you can learn something new.
My pictures were taken this afternoon when I went on a little trip to photograph a breathtaking mountain landscape. Suitable for it, I would like to talk about the Oreads from Greek mythology which are known as nymphs who live in the mountains and in general the term nymph is understood as female nature spirits or elementary beings and there are, for example, water, forest and some other species of them. The Oreads are primarily responsible for taking care of the mountains and their task was to protect the mountains and the landscape and according to legends, their echo could be heard over long distances. They are depicted as beautiful and lovely beings who had the ability to shape the mountain landscape and and they were also associated with the element earth and allegedly they were also responsible for planting trees or other plants and they lived inside caves in the mountains and the whole landscape around the mountains was created by them and this also included the mountain lakes or green areas.
Their charisma and expression was mostly quite positive and they were considered extremely beautiful and their appearance can vary according to various legends and most of the time they are associated with blond hair and they were considered shy and restrained towards people. Presumably, their shy nature is also the reason that they live well hidden in caves and they also had some supernatural abilities and could turn into various objects and often they are also regarded as protectors of hikers but they were also known for their tantrums and if they got too upset it could be that avalanches even broke out. In Greek mythology they are rather rare and the most famous of them was also known under the name Echo and in art and literature they can be found in some works and according to some traditions the Oreaden are the children of the goddess of the earth Gaia.
Thank you very much for stopping by and I hope you could learn something new about mythology! I captured these pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens!

I think that all these myths must have some basis, possibly some people live these circumstances that you write, or they imagine it, this is how all this is born and without a doubt it is interesting and pleasant
