So it seems like when you are physically active you sleep better, but when you are mentally active it alters your sleep patterns?
Do you meditate? Maybe doing something 'mindless' for a while, like coloring mandalas, or 3D images, or just listening to some sort of soothing music with just a candle on, or regular meditation...just something to let your mind relax before sleeping might help alot. Over-stimulation will disrupt sleeping for sure...
