I can't even create a my own essay when I was in high school. I hate writing and reading, but when I grew up things have drastically change , I don't know if there's a connection with genes or whatever (relatives to my father side reads a lot and write) I begin to read as long as I want, I write as much as I like, I even attended a poetry clinic for new breed of poets , just to learn how poem can make a difference and effectively create worth a piece for 9 grueling months, that training thought how to be a reader, not just a reader, a critique, in order to have a one piece of much anticipated poem of mine to be read out loud in front of the winners of the Palanca that I have proudly worked for. It's not easy writing a poem nowadays because things have really gone out of place. Thanks enazwahsdarb!
I didn't attend poetry school.. (very interesting by the way). But I have a similar experience towards how things have happened in terms of writing for me too.
