Just a few hours ago, one of the family dogs passed away. Her name was Tinka and she was a good dog.
I still remember the first day she came into the house and was a ball of happiness and fur. She even made friends with a couple of cool cats; Bilbo and Scooter.
It does give me comfort knowing that she will reunited with her old friends who finished their journeys before her; Pearla the Bichon Frise, Farrah the Cocker Spaniel, and Grace the rednosed Pitbull. I miss you all.

Sorry to hear it. It's the worst part of the package for which we pet owners sign up. Mine passed in November. What a sweet face Tinka had!
Yeah it is the worst part. I've had pets my entire life and this was the first time I wasn't able to be there to say goodbye. I'm just really glad she wasn't alone and she was with family in her final moments. Sorry about your loss as well!
I've had eight dogs in my life, and three are still living. It helps to have other pets if one of them dies. The loss is worse I think, if you only have one. One of mine was hit and killed by a car. That was the hardest to deal with.
