Now let's talk about a common scenario or a true fact as they say. Every blogger/Content creator faces this problem of coming up with new content ideas.
Whenever we start with blogging, couple of few articles we write very fast but then we have exhausted our list of topics. We struggle to generate that idea on what topic would our next article should be.
But there is nothing to worry about and in this article we will understand how we can generate lot of content ideas for absolutely free and within a matter of couple of minutes. There is a guarantee that those ideas would be succesful, as the source we would be using is already selling video content based on those ideas.
I have been an online instructor at Udemy, Skillshare etc since last more than 3 years and have earned huge income from that platform.
I will show you everything step-by-step that how you can use this awesome e-learning website to come up with several topics in just matter of minutes.
I would also explain why your article is bound to succeed as you have that Udemy or Skillshare guarantee before that.
Udemy and Skillshare are the biggest e-learning portal available today. It is basically a place where people like me create and share their online courses, these courses are self-paced video tutorials and does not require your presence while teaching.
I'm not in this blog post asking you to go ahead and take a Udemy course but we will just be using the course sales page for our content ideas.
As I mentioned earlier Udemy is the biggest e-learning portal available today with more than 8 million paying students so we need to understand that if people are paying then there has to be got some quality and value.
Not only you get the idea for the content but actually a reviewed content.
Every Udemy course has user reviews on its sales page so we can go through the reviews and bifurcate the good courses from bad ones. Let me explain how to do that.
Firstly we will head over to the Udemy.com and search for the keyword related to our blog niche. While searching will also ensure that we take into consideration the keywords that show up in the suggested search. Lets say we write about Bitcoins.
An Udemy typical search result page looks like the below image with the facility to sort the results based on popularity, language, reviews, newest, price low to high and vice versa.
The requirement to upload a course on Udemy is that it should be minimum 30 minutes long and minimum 60% of that should be video. We will sort by reviews so that we can get the course with highest reviews at the top.
Our next step would be to filter out courses which has more lecture than others among the courses having highest reviews. Basically the search results page itself will give you both number of reviews and number of lectures in the course.
The more video lectures a course has a more amount of content topic it can generate for us. Now we will identify two or three best courses out of that and open each one of them in a new tab. The individual course sales page will not only tell you about the number of reviews but it also contains number of students enrolled in that course. So if a course has more number of students and reviews means it surely has more credibility.
Now we do not need to go through the course description etc. instead we will scroll down to where the real juice is and that is the curriculum part. Almost every good course on Udemy has got its curriculum bifurcated into various sections. You can skip initial one or two sections as they might would be more of an introduction type.
The below image will reveal what I'm trying to explain here.
You do not need to copy the exact topic but we will just use this as our next article content idea. The more lectures a course has the better for us. Now you can manipulate those words and come up with your own list of topics you would be creating your next articles on.
For eg: as per above image our Article Topic can be Solo and Pool Mining - What you should know?
Like another lecture: our Article Idea can be The best cloud mining provider?
Next Lecture gives us How to improve mining efficiency and increase ROI?
We shall never steal the content from the course but should only take it as a source of inspiration to generate unique and original articles which would appeal to your audience. I just explained you here by taking one example, however Udemy is full of thousands of such courses. The opportunities are infinite.
Now go head over to Udemy or skillshare or whatever you are comfortable with and see how many content ideas you can generate.
