Wine is a taboo element in many sacred civilizations. Numerous rituals and rites have traditionally been associated with its use. Wine is not only a symbol, an allegory. Tradition is all connected with each other. If something remains with something else in the relationship, it means that these things are also related in a practical way. In other words, if alcohol is a synonym for initiation, it means that the action it causes on man should initiate a journey of initiation. Drinking is a path, a path to the interior.
Naturally, simple getting drunk does not necessarily guarantee the achievement of the truth. It is only a path to it. And like any path, it can be auspicious, but it can also end in nothing.

yeah, thats true islam is stricktly forbidden alcohol as it getting consumption too much causes imbalance and out of self controlled, though it is about wine you can't.

I am always suspicious of all forbidden rules and laws written by people who didn’t tell us all the truth behind their laws!
Even in Buddhism, alcohol or spirits are forbidden only is case of the purpose of intoxication only. If using spirits in terms of medicinal purposes, it is okay!!
But most people who didn’t read the scripture will never understand this! Just as well, the majority of Thai people drink alcohol for getting drunk!!
