Can Artificial Intelligence End Humanity?

in #blog7 years ago (edited)

It is said that the computer systems we control are handled by artificial intelligence, which can decide for themselves. Already, many experts have begun to claim that artificial intelligence can be a threat to humanity.

Many people say that an artificial intelligence to be created will have a mind at a level that a person can not imagine, and that it will not be a limit to self-improvement. Even if it is done for any task according to the instructions, the artificial intelligent computer may not be satisfied with it and it can be dangerous out of control.

Even if it is programmed to do just one job, it can not be predicted what the machine with a brain can think of to be free. For the most part this is a big risk. For example, there is no answer to the question of if only artificial intelligence with the task of making a chip is involved in actions that will take up resources to destroy this task.

While the artificial intelligence is being developed, the opponents say that a thinking machine can develop a new logic to get rid of these constraints and enslave them in the name of protection, while talking about the rules that would prevent human damage like I Robot film.

It is not even possible to predict what a computer leaking into a large internet network spread all over the world could control. It would be possible to prevent it if a self-explanatory computer program uses the network to control all military installations or creates a chaos by changing the radar systems of airplanes in the air.

It is not possible to predict how much a computer that works twice as fast as the human brain can improve existing information. An artificial intelligence, which will reach a capacity far above human intelligence, can not be answered to the extent to which the knowing limit will end.

Some people claim that all moral codes will be loaded into artificial intelligence and that they will have a good-hearted computer, but many people think that this intelligent entity, which can interpret its own moral code, can bring the end of humanity by using the network. At this point there seems to be no way other than to wish an artificial intelligence to be decided to destroy humans to prevent wars.

Sort:

I fear it no matter if it is programmed with"moral codes" or not.

If the "moral codes" are programmed by humans, there is no manner in which I can ensure a robot has morals with are compatible with my moral codes.

If AI develops it's own moral codes, then no one can be assured what the AI is willing to do.

AI is a dangerous, slippery slope which we cannot afford to make many mistakes with. Each mistake could be the last mistake for hundreds or millions of people.

Just because we CAN do a thing doesn't mean we SHOULD do that thing.

It will eventually be let out upon the world, but we as a species should be quite wary of large scale implementation in the foreseeable future, as our existence could depend on it!

Yes, the challenge lies in teaching/programming robots to understand right from wrong as well as to remain subordinate to humans. Stay in your place bot!🤖
