RE: The Reason why a Minnow lost Hope

in #blog6 years ago (edited)

Nine months for just 80 SP.

SteemWorld.
I can't tell if that's a lot or not.
It always depends on the perspective.
Without Steem it would be 0.You've earned twice that much according to @steemchiller's

i bet none of you will.

Oh, and also - you've just lost your bet.

Yes, you are right, I lost a metaphorical bet but the message is there and instead of commenting on it you preferred to suggest that I lied.

No, I'm not lying, why should I? If you did not notice it, steemworld shows ALL the rewards as SP, including those received in Steem and SBD. I´m talking exclusively of the SP.

Do you consider that your comment is worthy of a witness? A witness should be working to guarantee the best for the platform. Do you really think that this is the best way to do your job?

I tried to make visible a problem that affects us all, but apparently you prefer to go around the bushes.

Actually, sometimes is better to keep silence instead of say something like this. Good job sir!

I think @gtg also means that earning SP through posting is not the only way to increase it, you can also do power up.

Doing "good" for the platform goes far beyond than making you feel good, @jcalero. I understand a little the frustration you have because at some point I had it. But telling the top 1 witness how he should do his job only shows how biased your opinion may be.

And the reality is that the witnesses have no direct responsibility for the community, their only responsibility is to mine blocks, publish the price feed and ensure the security of the network so that all of us can publish, comment, vote, send and receive tokens within the blockchain. All other actions that a witness can do such as voting, publishing and commenting are entirely at will, there is no obligation.

What we can agree on is that maybe things could be better, there will always be something to improve, but I have to tell you that I don't agree that Steemit will disappear, because while you are complaining, there are many others making money, making friends, regardless of the quality of the content, as it is subjective. And if Steemit disappears, it's just a front-end, there are still other dapps.

Steem will prevail as long as there are people who understand what this is about, and it's not about "good quality content", we're talking about a mined block every 3 seconds, faster transactions than any other blockchain, no transaction fees, and an inflationary economy that allows you to produce tokens through likes, to think that this is only about posting articles and getting votes because they are good is to limit oneself too much.

While you leave, there are others who will stay, so I invite you to see the other side of the coin, you're not losing anything here.

So, content do not matter at all. 👍

It matters, if it didn't matter I hadn't founded @celfmagazine, and I'd probably leave the platform. I'm just inviting you to think about things differently, to look beyond.
