Mirage

The bitter truth is that we are born alone, and we die alone. Even in a world full of people, most of us remain alone. Some are driven by fate to walk the solitary path, while others choose loneliness and become their own jailers, locked in with nothing but their shadows and the echo of their inner voice.

In this world, suffering clings to us like a second skin. There is no escape! And the enemy is not outside of us but buried deep within. Tiring the soul, draining hope and slowly killing what's left of our light.

We are surrounded by everyone, yet in reality, there is no lasting family, no eternal friends and no love that stays untouched by time. Nothing and no one remains with us forever. People come for reasons, often hidden in the folds of chance or necessity, and they vanish when circumstances shift or when we finally choose dignity over pain and refuse the suffering they bring.

The pain, the heartbreak and the illusion. We carry them like sacred relics. And the dreams we once chased, the goals we fought for with trembling hands and hope-filled hearts, they fade. Eventually, when we finally awaken, we realize that everyone was only ever there for a reason, no matter how deeply they claimed to love us, or how fiercely we loved them. There is always a reason and there is always an end.

We are born alone, we walk this dark path alone and in the end, we rest in the grave alone. Love is a flicker, a fleeting warmth that briefly lights our way as we chase dreams and desires shimmering just out of reach. At some point, we see the light at the end of the tunnel, and we run toward it, struggling, suffering while everything around us collapses in silence, swept away like dust in a storm. In the end, nothing is left but a mirage.

We search for meaning in the void, for light in the darkness, for true love in a world consumed by greed and for truth in a universe woven with lies and myths. But in the end, we come to understand that everything fades, everything vanishes and everything is forgotten. Only the shadows of what once was remain, whispering silently behind us.
