Now that I have reached 100 followers, this might be very ordinary to some who have had many followers already but this is a big deal for me. Some would even say that earning money and attracting followers in Steemit is easy, but to tell you frankly it is NOT. Unless you are a celebrity, reknown blogger or photographer or just simply an influencial person, this platform can be a tool to earn money fast, as one of my co-steemian said. But for ordinary people like me, who needs to exert extra effort, try to think of many constructive comments to socialize with other steemians and think endlessly on what to post next, steemit is never easy. Again, I repeat, it's never easy.
This milestone of reaching 100 followers here in steemit is very overwhelming and heart-flattering to me,(i didn't even reached 50 followers in facebook π).
So far my experiences here in Steemit, I did my homework and did a lot of researches π in order for me to survive my first weeks here and I'm glad to have followed many Steemians who were eager to help and give advises to newbies like me. I've even met schoolmates, classmates and even new found friends that were very helpful and gave handful of advices. I've tried joinging colorchallenges, photo of the day challenges, food blogs, trip blogs and even some of my personal whereabouts here like devotionals and encouragements. I got to the point of crying, had doubts, got insecured, and lost hope because of those times that I made so much efforts in posting but no one seemed to care or notice my posts. But all I can say is that you really need to work hard for you to earn. Money don't come easy, and I know that we can never get to appreciate the things that comes easily, sometimes the things that we cherish and value more are the things which required our endless efforts along with sweat and tears (well maybe I'm exaggerating π) but in reality, we really do appreciate the things that we work hard for, the things we considered to be worth of our efforts.
For now, I may still have a few followers compared to those that have hundreds and thousands already, but hey we all pass that point when we were just starting and still learning along the way. I'm glad that you've been together with me in this little milestone I get to experience. Thank you for your support π I'm grateful that you've been with me and kept on supporting my posts.
I'm not an expert here, not even that rich because of my earnings here haha but all that I've experienced is one of my best teachers. So for those who just started, keep on swimming against the tide. Don't get discouraged, but continue to showcase your talents. Good contents and original blogs are worth it. Don't settle for what is easy and don't compromise excellence. And mostly, Enjoy and make friends. Enjoy what you're doing and don't forget that this is a social media website. Socialize more often, build friendships and give honest, constructive conversations. Don't run after for money, because as what I've said it will just come along with generous friends and followers. If they've liked your posts, then it's in their hands to decide wether to upvote or not. Never beg for upvotes and such, again NEVER π Build a good reputation! π Earn your reputation! Steem on! π
So I think this post got lengthy, I was just supposed to post a thank you message for those who have followed, resteemed and upvoted me. But anyway, I'm very grateful π May God bless you more abundantly in all aspects. Thanky you π
XOXO,
