The girls are growing every day. They’re both walking like pros and “talking” a lot too - mostly through signs but sometimes Squish will start jabbering a mile a minute ... I just have no clue what she’s saying!
There was about a week where I was able to catch up some on sleep, but lately we’re back to the restless teething nights. And no wonder! Squirt has a tooth coming in near the back. They each have four teeth on top and two on the bottom ... now it seems like both have teeth further back coming in.
But besides that, they are playful during the day and we have lots of fun together. We dressed up and went outside for pictures the other day. I’m glad we went because the next day it poured rain!
It’s tough to get them to look at the camera when I’m by myself but I get lots of cute candid shots.
Their interests these days
Squirt LOVES reading. If she’s quiet, I’ll usually find her looking at a book (or pages of a board book that’s been torn apart).
Squish will happily try new foods and usually likes them too!
Both girls have a funny fake laugh. They’ll hear Matt and I laughing about something and copy us.
I catch them copying me a lot! They like to “help” me and imitate whatever I’m doing. Both are eager to please. Sometimes Squirt will do something she knows she’s not supposed to and will laugh nervously to get my attention. When I tell her to stop and come to me, her face lights up and she races to me, very pleased with herself for listening 😂

Even though the girls don’t understand birthdays yet, I enjoyed spending the day with them and feeling very loved with their sweet cuddles and kisses.

I love watching them learn! Sometimes all I do is raise my eyebrow or ask,”Is that what you’re supposed to be doing?” and she comes running 😂 Right now we’re working hard to make sure they understand the blessing of obedience. I obeyed more out of fear growing up ... when really, it should be a joy!
