It doesn't make a difference in the event that I need to wake up at 3am for a 5am flight, or on the off chance that I have a 6am meeting, or in case I'm exploring the great outdoors in the forested areas and I need to wake up with the nightfall to go climb for 15 miles, I generally, consistently, without fall flat, set aside a few minutes for a solid breakfast.
