Today I'm starting the next big push, I need to write the next 100-120 pages before I can afford myself another day off. This means that my next day off will essentially be when I finish the entire first draft of my novel. I decided that I want to finish the entire first draft by the end of January. In principle, considering how many days are left in the month, this is quite realistic if you work hard every day, so I'm set on working hard without days off.
Today I'll continue with the scenes that I know how to continue. I'll write them for now, and then I'll look at what exactly is missing in the text. A hundred pages is a fairly large volume for building up, it's not really clear to me yet what I can add to the plot in such quantities, I still need to think about it, but I hope I'll find what I'm still missing.
I probably started to sort out the plot lines too early, but you can probably always find something to add to and dilute the plot a little. I have places where there is too much tension, and it could be weakened by more abstract scenes, which is what I am going to do. I just haven't figured out how exactly yet.
This week I will have lectures and training. I don't really want all this, but I understand that it is necessary, so I will go. In any case, you need to distract yourself from the text a little, otherwise you can go crazy. Yes, if you don't want to.
