Continuation of novel story

in #blog6 hours ago

Hi, guys!

I continue to work on the text of the second volume of my novel, yesterday I managed to write a double portion, that is, ten pages. I really hope that today I will be able to write a triple one, because I hoped that by this time I would have already written a quarter of the novel, but only one eighth has been written, which means I need to pick up the pace a little, write faster. Because there is still a third volume ahead, which I would also like to write while I am studying at the courses, and after that the fourth and fifth. At the moment, I do not yet know how many of them I will have, and this is actually not very good news, because it would be nice to have this answer for the publisher.

But for now I will just write in a straight line, volume after volume, while I have enough imagination for the next books. I do not know how many there will be, but I really hope that there will be more than three. At first I thought that this was only a trilogy, but now I understand that I am definitely not ready to part with my story so soon, I want it to continue as long as possible. This means that you can develop it gradually, gradually adding details, without rushing the development. I like to gradually follow the development of the characters, after the super dynamic first volume, to slow down the pace of the narrative a little, focusing more on the feelings and emotions of the characters. Now the second volume is less dynamic, there are fewer abrupt events and more reflection, I describe each scene more colorfully.

In fact, now I feel like I want the story to stay with me forever, but I understand that sooner or later I will get tired of it. Another question is that until this happens - you need to stay with it. So I stay, and I will write it until it exhausts itself. In any case, I get an original, unique work. It is both fantasy and, to some extent, a psychological novel. In general, it is actually a rather strange book, I even wonder what genre it will be classified as.

The main thing is that she finds her reader, and I'm sure she will. Psychological problems are quite a relevant topic.

Have a great day everyone!
