Final move and final writing

in #blog15 days ago

Hi, guys!

Yesterday it so happened that I unexpectedly finished the first draft of the first volume. It so happened that I finished it at 365 thousand characters, and now I am very worried that this is too little, and I am trying to figure out how to expand the text by at least another forty thousand. I hope that I will think of something. Now I need to finish this sulphur in this week and start editing, because February is just around the corner, which means it is time to give the first volume to the logical beta for proofreading. I think this weekend I will give the text to my muda to look at it for logical blunders, maybe after that I will need to add something else.

And here it is.
Yesterday in the writers' group I found an announcement about a manuscript competition, which must be submitted by the end of June, and I thought that I can also include this in my list. Purely theoretically, you can still manage to make such a turn, if you really try hard. And since I really need practice, why not. The main thing is not to count on too much. So today I'll draw myself a grid for another novel and try to come up with another plot.

Of course, this will be another additional source of complexity, but I will not aim at this project as something that must be completed, I'll just do it if I have time, and if I don't have time, I'll finish it somehow later. Just if it suddenly works out, then why not, let there be another text. It needs at least 300 thousand characters, that is quite a lot, but I want to try.

In the meantime, I will edit the first volume and make sketches for the next two. Yesterday I had a couple of crazy ideas for them, and I want to see how they work.

Have a great day everyone!
