Today I really hope that my first betas will have finished working with the text and I will pass it on to the next ones. It is quite an exciting moment, it will mean that my text will move to a new level, more readers will read it, and this is very cool. A doctor will read it, and he will see how the line with the doctor character develops, which is very important for me, because I want authenticity, I have a medical line and a doctor character in the text.
It is so great that so many people agreed to read my book. So exciting. Now I will need to make all the edits and already at the end of February present the text for consideration to the publisher. I really hope that the publishing house with which we will present in February will take me, they have very good conditions for authors. Well, and if they refuse, then I will have to wait until September, and of course I don’t really want that, to be nervous for another six months, I would like everything to be resolved faster.
That's why I'm set to work very actively now, to do everything cleanly and to the maximum, to finish everything quickly and do everything beautifully. That's why I'm starting to work on the second betas so early.
I wanted to expand the text more, but now I already understand that I can't expand it any more. There's nowhere to insert another 60 thousand characters that I wanted to insert so that the novel would be more voluminous, so the first volume will probably be shorter than I planned. But it's okay, maybe the second and third will be longer.
Although maybe the second and third betas (or the third and fourth) will find such logical inconsistencies that it will be necessary to write some more text, which will help make the text more voluminous, I don't know that now. Let's see how it turns out in the end.
