Writing quickly and a lot

in #blog15 hours ago

Hi, guys!

Yesterday I had a good burst of inspiration and instead of five pages I wrote seventeen, I really hope that today will be the same or even more. If this pace is today, then in principle I am even ready to skip training and lecture, if necessary, in order to finish the draft of the first volume as quickly as possible, because I really want to finish this part of the work and move on to editing.

I have two betas who are waiting for me to send them the text for reading, and it would be good if I did this before the end of January, so I am trying very hard to finish and send the text for editing as soon as possible. It is clear that I will still have to go over it myself a few times and comb it, but these are already details. I want to have a completed first draft, so that I can actively mold a finished pie from this raw dough.

At the same time, I understand that I essentially have to write about a third of the entire text, which is quite a lot, and if I rush too much, the text may just turn out weak, and we don't need that either. So I need to find the optimal balance between speed and quality. I hope I can do it.

Today I'm continuing from where I left off yesterday, and I'm confidently continuing to increase the volume of text. There are still some plot twists that I don't know how to write yet, but I hope I'll come up with them in the process.

Have a great day, everyone!
