The Milky Way is a galaxy that is part of a large group of galaxies. There are billions of galaxies in the known phase, but the Milky Way is especially important because it is housed in the Solar System. The Milky Way looks like a light rope from the Earth in the night sky. It is difficult to see in bright towns and cities but it looks better in darker regions.
The Milky Way can be seen everywhere in the world. The plane of the Milky Way is 60 degrees more oblique than the Earth's orbit. Taurus, Auriga, Perseus, Andromeda, Cassiopeia, Cepheus & Lacerta, Cygnus, Vulpecula, Canis Major, Monoceros, Puppis, Carina, Vela, Musca, Crux, Centaurus, , Sagitta, Aquila, Ophiuchus, Scutum and Sagittarius.
The Milky Way looks the brightest in the direction of Sagittarius. The Milky Way passes through the southernmost of the Crux constellation and passes over the high slope of Earth's equatorial plane. The Milky Way divides the night skies of the Solar System's two hemispheres, where the galactic plane stays close.
The Milky Way is about 100,000 light years in diameter and is believed to be 1,000 light years thick. At least 200 billion stars to 400 billion stars is thought to be content. According to the research, the gas around the Milky Way is about 12,000 light years thick.
It is difficult to determine the age of the Milky Way. Nevertheless, it has been narrowed to 13.2 billion years, almost the same age as the universe. This approach was based on the 2004 UV Visible Spokescence survey of the Very Large Telescope.

Hey, I upvoted your post, because I like your style of writing :-)
But for being honest - what do you let think we are flying with about 150.000 kilometers per hour through the galaxis? Imagine you have nothing of what you learned your whole life - like you fell on the earth like an alien .. :-P
Something really perfect, I wish :)
No I mean intuitional :-)
