I bet you want to feel better by helping some good people victim of a cruel dictatorship, I bet you sit comfortably in a big sofa watching news from a shithole called Venezuela and say “Poor people, I wish I could help them”
Rejoice! I have good news, now you can help! And I will tell you how! There is a perfect way to help and maybe save at least a life from starving, sickness or even lost of dignity. I present you the “Adopt a Venezuelan Program™" (AVP) by @jcalero.
It´s an easy way to help and prevent you for being scammed by some bastard who will ask for votes to buy some food and give them to the poor, taking your vote and not giving anything to anyone else. I have news, in Venezuela everyone´s poor but not all deserve your help.
And this is what you should do… Pick one of the thousands good Venezuelan steemians, there are a lot including me, pick one you think is a decent human being, look at his blog, check out that he doesn´t do any abuse or plagiarism and upvote him. Vote any of his publications as long you think he´s doing a good job, and ask your friends to upvote him too.
Why? Because your vote will hardly buy a dinner for a friend in Norway, but the same vote could save an honest dude like me from starvation and give him hope, you could give him this powerful message “I know your are having a bad time but stay honest, keep working, keep your head up and I will help you the best way I can, by keeping you alive”
See it, isn´t that hard to do, it´s a win-win solution. You will know how it feels to be like Bill Gates, you will go to bed feeling like a rich philanthropist and someone in Venezuela will go to bed with a full belly a week after your vote is done, your money will go to a good cause with no scams or false NGO involved. So, in Steemit you have a true opportunity to support good people having hard times, just as simple as pick one good Venezuelan steemian an adopting him by upvote his best posts.
So, I guess this is it, I know this isn´t a nice subject to read but I think there are a lot of good people out there looking for a way to help and this is in my honest opinion the best, Venezuela is going through the worst nightmare you can imagine and you can help, and if someone with good SP read this and start to vote someone in need maybe I could think I´m saving a life too.
So excuse me by this call for help, I know is not a good way to call your attention and maybe you will be tempted to flag me but I have to take the risk, I know there is a lot of good people out there looking for a good way to help and this is it. You can adopt us like pets, you will feel good and someone will survive in the shithole that’s became my country.
