Here is my honest take on Racism in America (Today). I know nobody wants to talk about it because the Mainstream Media (MSM) has most of the planet brainwashed, but I'm not scared to speak. I'm the realest person you will ever know. Tell it like it is no matter if it conflicts with anyone's agenda.
Every Minority in America has been raised in this "white man's world" and has basically become familiar with it's environment. In contrast not every "white" person has lived or even visited the "black man's world".
Allow me to explain....
A "black person/minority" stops at a store outside of their own community, which may be rather often when considered the size of their community is largely disproportionate and much smaller. In being outside ones own community/environment more, one develops a familiarity and grows more comfortable as time progresses.
On the other hand "white people" in largely disproportionate numbers Truly know or actually spent time in the "black/minority" community. In this sense you can only conclude that a "white person" will more likely feel "uncomfortable" entering the "black/minority" community because they are unfamiliar with the environment they are in. It's a place they have no clue about and seldom if ever go.
From this view we can say it is implausible for any Race to say the other doesn't understand or can not relate. As a young "white male" I can truly tell you I have dealt with my share of racism thrown my way. I believe Racism is a deflection mechanism in a humans brain that is triggered when they are uncomfortable. It's a feeling that your brain looks for an answer to and people have been programmed to identify it with Racism. As people we are all the same. The beauty of different races is we have a wide assortment of cultures dating back to the beginning of time. Obviously there are many truly Racist people in this world that I despise with every ounce of my soul but not every time you feel racist tension is it because of the other person. Sometimes it's our own thoughts on what we think the other person is thinking that is what creates the racist tension. We have been programmed since birth to think this way. We Must Break The Cycle!!!! Now!!!
I grew up in a highly mixed, well stirred community/environment. I personally have felt uncomfortable and racism in both black/minority communities as well as "white" communities. I am in no way sheltered to one culture nor am I compromised to lean one way. I see 360 degrees. I speak Truth from my own eyes and experiences. I have been singled out and been called racist things and told "you don't belong here" and experienced obvious and true racism, but how many out of all my experiences have been paranoia inflicted on myself because i was simply uncomfortable in a new environment? Probably most the instances that were not blatant and targeted have been self induced through being told my whole life that "people are racist". No We Aren't! We've been brainwashed to think our problems are because of "this" and not "that". Nationalism/America First attitude is the only thing that can end Racism in America once and for all. 1 Nation 1 People!
1.) Education must be a leading driver in our efforts. Vocational High Schools should be available in every county in America for those who wish to learn a specific trade in high school with 0 intention of furthering academics in College.
2.) Police should patrol the same area day in and day out. Speak and help local communities instead of random patrols and instilling fear. Especially in our inner city "black/minority" communities. Local citizens should know who is protecting them by name and feel comfortable, not intimidated. This would result in extremely less fatalities on both sides as well as increase production in getting actual criminals "murderers/pedophiles" off of the streets so we can all feel safe.
3.) Don't allow fake news to drive you into thinking America has gone nowhere since the Civil Rights Movement. 99% of all people are good people who care about Morals and our children's future, not the color of their neighbors skin.
I see the challenge of being comfortable in a foreign community.
My family is native american on my dad's side, and Russian Jew on my mom's side.
It's difficult to be alienated, and being othered, especially when we face discrimination based on ethnicity.
Chosing inclusiveness is a good step towards equity.
