New Year, Same Skies

in #blog23 days ago

I'm trying to be positive about 2025 but it's hard. I stopped engaging with and posting on Twitter a few months ago and I feel better for it and one of my New Years resolutions has been to stop smoking week which is going well so far (yeah I know it's only the 3rd of Jan but the last smoke I had was the 29th of Jan and I managed to get quite drunk on New Years eve without smoking which was an achievement).

I hope that with a more positive outlook, lack of weed and little to no social media I will be be more motivated to do the things I want and need to do.

One thing that continues to get me down however is the state of the skies. I know there's nothing I can do about it and I've been told on more than one occasion to concentrate on the things which I can change, but how am I supposed to avoid looking at the sky?

It is so frustrating to watch a blue sky get filled with trails and the sun gradually get consumed by the man made haze while the majority of people walk around completely oblivious to it.

I'm writing this short post in the hope that by venting into the void I will feel a bit better. I certainly feel better putting my thoughts down on here than on Twitter and even though I have less followers on here and very few people if any will read this, at least I know that an algorithmn isn't making it invisible deliberatley and my thoughts will remain forever on a blockchain rather than the Musk puppets bullshit site.

Maybe things will get better this year and more people will wake up to the crimes taking place in the skies but I fear it has become normal now and people are just accustomed to seeing white skies and when even a bit of blue emerges they proclaim what a great day it is. Such is life I suppose in 2025.

That's it for me.

Congrats on your achievement with the weed, do you find it saps your motivation? I smoke one a day right now but I hate it because I dream all night and remember them all and I don't feel like I am getting any rest. It's better when I'm a chronic.

The skies make me soooooo mad too Jim. I know there's nothing we can do but raise awareness. I have noticed more people wising up to it, but that's cause the tv tells them it's real now so...

Hey Lynds. Good to hear from you. I don't smoke a massive amount of weed compared to some (1 or 2 pipes a day) but I think it was sapping my motivation yeah. I'm trying to homeschool my kids and I cannot afford to be lazy or stoned too much as I feel I'm letting them down.

I've noticed that I've started to dream since I stopped smoking whereas before I don't remember dreaming at all. It's strange.

I was on an online work meeting with my team this morning and my boss starting saying what a nice day it was and how nice it was to see the sun when I'd just watched it gets obscured by trails and haze over the past couple of hours. It is so annoying and frustrating.

I had some business cards printed a few months back with some info on Geoengineering, telling people that the skies were not natural and I leave them in various places but it's an uphill battle and since most people won't look any further than the first page of Google search results I don't see a big awakening happening any time soon.

I hope all is well with you. Are you still homesteading in Canada (Apologies if I am mistaken about you living in Canada).

Take it easy.

Nice to see you back youre not "venting into the void"....

Im sure, but correct me if im remembering incorrectly, youre onky thebother side of the seven estuary to me?? So were looking s oretty much the same skies. Theyve definitely been getting worse.

Good luck, and stay strong with the NOT smoking. You got this

Hey Welshy :-) Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm in Plymouth so we're not too far away from each other.

Thanks for the encouragment.

Hope all is well with you and yours.
