Goodbye 2017! Welcome 2018!
NO PROMISES
Whenever we toss away our old calendars and open the first page of a new one, people like to start a new leaf in life, fulfilled with new dreams and goas. I have tried to do the same, but failed pretty much everytime. I've noticed that for me it's hard to make goals and checkpoints for 365 days straight and live by them. I am an emotional human being and I like to do things and make up plans on the go, depending on the mood.
BUT GOALS GIVE US MOTIVATION
Of course goals are important and I like to make them. They are just not meant for specific year. They are either supposed to happen earlier or even later. As for example, I have some goals set for the time I get 30. That will be in 3 years from now. Some things just need a lot more time to make things happen. So my next major checkpoint will be probably in 2021.
Most of my goals are short-term. As much as possible I like to live one day at a time. Luckily there are 4 quaters in a year, so this helps break up some things. And then there are 12 monts, 4 weeks in a months and so on, which help to make up smaller destinations for myself.
2018 isn't going to start anything new for me besides maybe the new calendar I will put up on my kitchen wall. Some things are still in motion from last year and I'm pretty sure some random goals come up as I live on. Most of the time I'm just looking to find some inner peace with myself.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I still I wish everyone a happy new year. Make a lot happen! Make a lot of memories and experience new things!
Every single day is another opportunity to make positive changes in our lives and in the lives of others. We just need to remember that and take advantage of these opportunities.
Have a blessed 2018 @kassixo
