Hello again Steemians :)
I have been mostly logged off the internet for the past two days, trying to do more thinking than posting. I am at an impass with my always common difficulties finding work and the desire to pursue my passion.
Two days ago, I went down to the Strip to see some friends staying at the Luxor. Being one of the older hotels, it is themed like ancient Egypt. Three main landmarks are included, The Sphinx, an Obelisk, and of course, The Great Pyramid.
I met them at the pool and had a few drinks. We talked about everything, but most importanly we talked about kendama.
Kendama is more than a toy. It is a tool I have used to completely change the course of my life. This is what I assume people feel like if they have never played music, and finally realize they have so much creative energy to be released into that field. I have played music for my whole life, so for me the novelty of kendama has the allure of a "rockstar" or creative alternative lifestyle.
Since adopting Steemit and blogging in general, I have been gaining even more satisfaction from focusing purely on kendama. It almost feels like everything else is a waste of time. If I go even harder on these things that have already begun to benefit me, they are bound to unfold to more and more success. Right?? That's what all the richest people in the world say!
Film tricks all day, making more than just a single trick video. Maybe a full kendama edit every two days?? I'm tired of waiting hoping for someone to help me achieve my dreams. I am going to go out and get them myself.
I am planning to use my Bitpay card and I'll be buying a ticket to Minneapolis tonight. In 2 weeks there is Camp Kendama, a weekend long camp full of insane kendama related games and competition. I don't have the money for the camp ticket yet, but I'll deal with that soon. If my goal is to be a full-time kendama love spreading hypebeast extraordinaire, I need to make it happen.
Good luck for the camp. If you get the time then update it quickly
Thanks! I booked my ticket today. Looking forward to creating lots of kendama content for my fellow steemians.
Best regards for you.
Great Post. So how did you like the strip? I been living in Vegas for about 5 years now and the strip is the walk of death LOL. Its nice we have so many Crypto ATMS out here, and slowly progressing to more crytpo. Do you come to vegas alot?
It is truly the walk of death haha. I never go out there unless people from out of town are visiting.
Tons of Crypto ATM's though that is super dope.
I actually grew up here so I am back in town from time to time! Glad to see another Vegas Steemian :)
Congrats on making your way to Camp Kendama! Will be a blast for sure, best of luck out there!
Congrats will be in order when I step foot in Wisconsin haha
