Jesus came and brought grace into play. Let me ask you this. If God has no problem on looking at sin, then how do you explain the Holy of Holies? If a priest came into the Holy of Holies with even one sin that wasn't atoned for, he would drop dead immediately.
Rather I think because of grace we no longer have to have that fear, but at the same time we still aren't looking at the face of God.
I think that there are different "rules" if you want to put it that way. Concerning sin and the three different parts of the Godhead.
God the Father cannot be in the midst of sin without that thing dropping dead.
God the Son can, and purposefully will put himself in situations around sinners in order to change that person into something that is Holy.
God the Holy Spirit, I'm still working that out as that part of God is a little bit more mysterious, but it seems as though it resides in a person being a guide, but convicts sin and therefore helps to stay away from unholiness in ones own life.
what is LOVE?
I'm confused... Yes God does love us if that is what you are saying... but he doesn't love the sin in us. I still don't understand how you are bringing that into play with the Holy of Holies
Look who you became after the death of Jesus... 2 Corinthians 5:16-21
