Neither Steemhunt nor translation creates content which is what Steemit is all about, so I have absolutely no idea where Steemit Inc is going with all this.
There are lots of great dapps and projects which are much more deserving of a delegation such of the @steemitworldmap, where you have been a big supporter from the beginning. We've curated so many great authors and posts, all of which are easily searchable on a single webpage. Not sure where Steemit support is....
Yea, I agree. You guys are probably the best curation team out there. But SteemInc is like giving the delegation to whatever dapps, then their works are done. I guess they just don't want Steem to be a travel blogging platform, they delegated to Steemhunt, Utopian because they want to function as a public chain with diversified apps, steemitworldmap might need to some connections to get delegations maybe...
Thanks for the lovely comment Joy!
Maybe we need to send @martibis out to do some networking again
@joythewanderer is right - steemit inc want Steem to be a diversified blockchain. I think that make sense though - when STEEM as a blockchain succeed steemit as a content platform will succeed. They are trying to look at the bigger picture. What that means unfortunately is that curation efforts on steemit would probably not be given official delegation. However, there are also a lot of whales out there who can afford to delegate to curation efforts and other dApps, but most of them are more after profit and delegate to bidbots. Which is again unfortunate...
Fortunately the Map has a recieved a delegation from a whale so we are able to make some impact in the travel posts...
But if they want to make Steemit a success, then they really need to be more diversify and make sure delegations to dapps reach as many people as possible and not just make a handful richer
