I also have a problem with it as do many of the whales and the founders. Dan has mentioned many times how he will also flag posts for tag spam. If you care about the network, and its success in the future, please use accurate tags. The same thing happens on Reddit if you try posting in sub-reddits that don't apply.
No need to get defensive or call people names. Just acknowledge the error, make the correction, and move on. Everyone wins.
