#14 My thoughts on... GIVING MY FIRST LECTURE IN ITALY

in #blog7 years ago

On Tuesday I had this awesome opportunity to organize my own lecture in the little city of Cornedo, Italy. I might seem like a kinda unbalanced human person, but actually, I'm a pro musicologist, so it's all cool. Since I talked about 20th-century art concepts which, believe it or not, aren't the most intriguing topic for the wider audience, I had only a few people who came to see me. But you know what they say: that's one small step for the humanities - and an even smaller step for the mankind. I'll show you few pics of me being all smart and wearing glasses. LET'S GO!

Here is me starting the lecture. My outfit is on point.

This is me talking about Kazimir Malevich. I had the audience eating out of the palm of my fricking hand.

This is me talking about Filippo Tommaso Marinetti in sepia. The tension in the room was so thick one could almost cut it with a knife.

Now that I'm famous, you can say to your friends that you knew me before the fame changed me. You're welcome.

Yours truly,

Magda

my amazing event is very difficult in doing public speaking maybe by reading this I understand little

public speaking was a problem for me until I started working in the school. at one point I just became numb and the stress stopped completely. it just takes practice, I promise! :)
