I hope they are not a threat, and the fact we haven't already been wiped out or enslaved hopefully proves that they aren't (yet?). The thing is, if they wanted us to get rid of them why not disable them all? :)
Could be they have a "prime directive", but also could mean they are just playing the long game heh
