Yes I agree, that is why we have made extra steps to assure that our children get to interact with many children, our kids are VERY sociable and have many friends in 3 different countries.
They also have each other, we have 3 girls and a boy so when they are not playing with each other then they are out playing with others.
I would be worried if I saw parents homeschooling but didn't make an effort for their child to interact with other children.
