My first Blog

Hello Steemit.

I would like to tell you how I came to be a studio and an events photographer

The story goes back to 2007 when I, a young owner of a Dslr camera(canon 400d) was looking for a cheap camera flash on the internet . After long searches I came across an announcement that suits me (I think it was a 430Ex canon if I did not mislead) at half price compared to others. I called and set where and when to meet.

The man I met would change my life forever. His name is Iulian.

I bought the camera flash and we talked for several hours. He adviced and gived me ideas in the field of photography and asked me if I want to work in his place in a photo studio(This company recruited people for various advertising spots and attracted them from the downtown location in an apartment), because he no longer wants this job and wants to travel through the world.

It was a shock to me because I had never done studio photography before, and I had just photographed until then only a few insects, 3-4 portraits, and a disastrous nude photo shoot (yes Nud - it's a long story).

Without too much thought, I accepted, but with great emotion. It was all very serious, especially as I started working the next day. Without too much thought, he took me by the sleeve and introduced me to the team as his replacement. I tried to understand what Iulian would teach me, but he was in a hurry frustrated and eager to leave as soon as possible to fulfill his dream of traveling freely. The next day I had 3 children up to 12 years old and a 25-year-old chick to photograph them(I remember this as if it were yesterday). The night before I did not sleep for a moment, I sat and searched the internet how to set the equipment, how to position the models, how to talk with the models ... etc, etc. and I thought every second that I should not have accepted this challenge.

I did not tell you that on THE DAY of photo sessions Iulian did not come, It was just me a make-up artist and a preatty girl who greets people who were programmed (the poor me :)) )

And so I woke up right in the middle of the "problem" with the camera in my hand (Kit Canon 400D / 18-55mm without stabilizer :)) and with childrens dazed to me. In the studio there were two softboxes 50-70cm, a Dark Gray background, a bar stool, an Ikea table and a fan, and with these things I had to deal with.
To my amazement, the sessions of the childrens went almost fine, after deleting several hundred photos, this day with four people had to take somewhere between 3 and 4 hours, but it lasted almost 8 hours.
Hours in which I encountered all sorts of situations more or less cozy.

The next part I will post it maybe tomorow, when I will tell you how and why I had to change the photo background and how I went home with a bag full of fresh cheese and green onion all BIO )

PS: Here are some pictures of that time
