What does acceptance mean to you?
Does it mean to tolerate someone even when you do not enjoy being around them? I believe it means to understand that things are a certain way. It is to live with what is and not worry about what can be.
It is knowing that how things are right now, is how they are supposed to be. Things really are perfect regardless of how much you feel they need to change to fit your paradigm.
In life, have you accepted that way things are as the final word or are you working on changing things so they go "your way"?
The more you fight the way things are the harder you make your life to live with a sense of purpose and understanding.
I do not feel acceptance is a bad thing or means failing at something. I believe acceptance gives you power over the things that hold you back. Things like friends, family, work, life situations and situations you feel are controlling you.
When you accept things for as they are, you begin to let go and go with the flow of life.
If you accept things as they are and begin to realize you cannot always have things your way. The stress you feel every day releases from your body. The stress that comes with holding on the wrong things starts to disappear and you see things as they are.
What are you holding on to that you need to let go? Do you know why you are holding on to what you hold on to?
I ask you to accept my challenge and get go of things that hold you back. Allow yourself to accept things you can't change and have the power of understanding what you can.
