When I tell people that I am a mathematician, a very common response I get is "Oh, I am not a math person."
So I was wondering, Steemians, are you math persons?
If you are a math person, what math interests you?
If you are not a math person, could you tell me one particular topic/problem in math that makes your skin crawl?
Please comment!
As you can see...my vote is miniscule... sorry about that - but I think you know about my delegations hahahha
and i LOVE math. love algebra. its like a puzzle that can always be solved!
but.... i don't like those graphs with parabolas hahahaha i like lines, angles... NO CURVES.
:)
Not even the Batman curve?
An answer that I got from several people I talked to was bathtubs! i.e. problems like, "consider a bathtub that is filling up at 1 liter per second, while the drain empties it by 0.7 liters per second..."
that's a lot of wasted water. LOLOLOL
they should just close the drain ;)
:D True! They should at least compensate with solar panels! "consider a solar panel that is receiving sunlight at 100 Watts on clear days, however on average, clouds block 70% of the light from reaching it..."
