Hey everyone, today I would like to share with you a great little tool that I found. It's an online drawing tool that allows you to create vector plots and export them as TIKZ code or directly as an SVG file. It can also be used to write equations in an easy way to export them to Latex code. Very handy for the scientific researchers among us :)

The website is called Mathcha.io. It can be used without having an account. However, if you want to save your sketches and equations online for later reference, you can sign-up with your Facebook account or even your GitHub account.
Easy sign-up, in case you want to save you work online.
Since I've first discovered this online editor I used it quite a bit. To give you an example of something I created, below is an image of a hand sketch and the final result in Latex:
Although the final layout of the TIKZ picture is slightly altered, I think the result is quite nice. It took me about an hour creating the final Image with the hand sketch as my starting point. Not bad I would say!
Here's another drawing I made a few weeks back as it is shown in the online editor:
By clicking the Tikz button in the top bar, it directly provides the source code for you to directly use in your Latex document. It's really just a matter of copy paste!
As you might guess, I'm quite excited about this easy-to-use tool. For those of you who use TIKZ pictures in their daily job, I would be very interested to hear what kind of tools you use to create your TIKZ drawings!
Hope you have a great day, thanks for stopping by!
Disclaimer
I am not affiliated with Mathcha.io in any way. I just think it is a very useful tool and therefore I want to share it with others.
Although its abracadabra to me , New hunts and tips are highly appreciated !
Thanks, I guess for some people it will be useful 8-)
Oh man... as someone who uses Latex on almost daily bases: where has this been all my life :P
I will most definitely try this out. Thank you!
Haha thanks! Yeah, I was also very happy when I found this! I know there are other desktop tools but 9 out of 10 times they are buggy and somewhat crappy in their usability. So far I like this one the most :)
