RE: Phurrrrr it’s Cold in Here

in #bloglast year (edited)

I hate being cold but I’d take the dry -30°C over rainy +2°C any day!

I'm totally with you here but... a lighty rainy 18-21 gives me such reminiscence for home vibes (being english and all). can't beat it.

Tbh, the -30 or whatever we were in up north China, was far easier to tolerate than the 0 or -1 in Shanghai. Something about the moisture in the air makes it so much sharper and unpleasant. Watching ice form on my face was just fun, really

We're trying to go Japan for skiing in february. Last year skiing in China gave us a HUGE appetite for this crisp, clear snowy wonderland scenario. I'm officially a winter person ever since!

Well I do like a good autumn storm with heavy rain, but I prefer to stay inside for that and hope it doesn’t last for weeks.

The moisture really gets you, digging in the cold to the bones, dry cold is much easier to deal with.

I’m not much of a skier but the scenery of white powder snow is fantastic!
