Avocados consist of a lot of healthy fats. These fats are rich in monounsaturated fatty acids. That's why avocados regulate your cholesterol.
But there are even more beneficial effects, otherwise the avocado would not be a supperfood.
They also contain vitamin A, alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, biotin and vitamin E.
If you eat avocados regularly, your blood formation improves, your skin becomes healthier and without vitamin A healthy bones, teeth and vision are not possible.
Even in leukemia, scientists have observed healing effects.
So guys, buy avocados tomorrow :-)

I've had the chance to live in SA close to some of those trees for a while, having avocado (or as they say in Spanish: Palta) all over the place for free. In fact so many that most of them weren't picked up, while they sold them in the street to tourists for a good price. This is really good stuff. :)
