I remember having Snake fruit here on Hawai'i Island and it was clear on the inside resembling litchi, longan, rambutan or pulasan.
The Snake fruit or Salak is white inside not transparent.. here we have the mangostin or mamones with clear inside. It will be interesting if you find another one to compare.
