Last month I was contacted by the Instagram profile that goes by name KorinSla and they asked me if I would like to get a package of the Korean products they are selling on their website in return for a review and scheduled Instagram posts where I would share a picture and write about my experience with each products. Of course I said yes and I was so excited because Korean products are not easy to find here in Serbia and I was happy to be one of the people they choose to collaborate with. For a moment, I felt like an Instagram influencer, lol.
Things I got
Box included: sheet mask, face cream, snack and Kimchi hot sauce! On their website they sell skincare products as well as different kinds of foods: noodles, snacks, sauces, teas and more. It's amazing to have one place with all the original Korean products and I will definitely order some new things to try out, especially when it comes to skincare.
Supercharged Aloe sheet mask
This sheet mask was the first thing I tried! In Serbia we can get some Korean sheet masks at the drugstore and I already tried a few but this aloe one was the best so far! I had it on my face for 20 minutes and then I massaged my face with a face roller for that extra cooling effect and for the essence to really soak in. My face felt so hydrated and it got that famous Korean glow. I am in love with this mask and I'll definitely get it again.
Aqua collagen multi cream
Other than sheet masks, this was my first Korean skincare products I got to try! I was just on a hunt for a light face cream as the one I was using is way too thick for hot weather but it's great for winter and then I found out KorinSla package will include face cream. It's exactly what I was looking for - a light, almost gel like cream that gives that cooling feeling on the face and again, that glow and hydration without being too thick and heavy. It really soothes my skin type and it also works great as a primer, makeup glides on so nicely and blends easily.
Pepero crunchy snack
Oh, how I wish I had some of these right now! Combination of salty and sweet is heavenly, plus it's crunchy and delicious! I shared it with my family and everybody loved it, especially my niece and nephew. :) If all the Korean snacks and sweets are this good, I honestly don't know how I would be able to control myself visiting or living in Korea, haha.
Kimchi hot and sour sauce
I've never tried kimchi so I was very curious about this sauce. It is a mix of hot and sour, it has a very unique smell and it tastes great in combination with meat, noodles and my favorite combination - a little bit of Kimchi sauce over fried cheese covered with sesame seeds! My tolerance for hot food is very, very low so first time I tried it, I was crying. When Koreans say something is hot, then it IS hot. Now I just use a very small amount of Kimchi sauce so that means it will last me a long time! :) It also comes in a glass bottle which is definitely much nicer than plastic.
Massive thank you to KorinSla for sending me these products and giving me a chance to try something new. I enjoyed them all and I cannot recommend them enough. Looking forward to get more goodies from their website and I hope their offer will only expand in the future.
Now I know why Korean cosmetic is a leader in the world of cosmetics 😂 Btw, which one of those products is your favorite, if you can choose between cosmetic and food products, lol? I still didn't try Kimchi Hot Sauce and to be honest I'm not brave, since my tolerance for hot things is low too. I just opened it and smell and for me it's a bit weird and unusual 😌
It's so hard to choose but if I had to pick one, it would probably be the Aqua collagen multi cream! :) I use it every day now and absolutely love it.
Kimchi sauce does have an unique smell but I actually really like it, haha. It's hot but tasty, just be careful with the amount, I just use a drop or two, lol.
I think cream is my favorite too! Btw, I tried Kimchi hot sauce with baby potatoes and, to be honest, I really don't like it at all haha :( Spicy is okay if the sauce is dosed carefully, but I don't like that sour taste.
