Dropbox today announced their partnership with
Google. This collaboration focuses on making it easy for Dropbox users who also use a variety of G Suite services to manage documents more easily and one step ahead.

Centralized content:
Dropbox users can create, open, edit, save and share Google Docs, Sheets and Slides directly via Dropbox. When you work with Dropbox, you can also save Google Docs, Sheets and Slides documents directly to your Dropbox account.
Secure collaboration:
Dropbox Business account admin can manage Google Docs, Sheets and Slides like various contents in Dropbox.
More effective communication:
Dropbox integration into Gmail and Google Hangouts Chat services. Users can select documents from their Dropbox account and send their links directly to Gmail and Google Hangouts Chat. Add-ons in Gmail will also make it easy to edit documents, view recent document data accessed and Hangouts will provide document preview mode while chatting
Already curious to try the integration being prepared? Be patient, Dropbox will soon release integration with G Suite by the end of 2018.
