Wow, when Netflix "Girlboss" came out, I couldn't help but think that based on that name it has got to be Godawful. Last night I gave it chance.
Eight minutes and forty seconds in, I stopped. I tried, I really did. There is not one redeeming quality in the main character, and the introduction to the best friend, her boyfriend (the love interest) was like watching toddlers talk about adult things. I get it they are actual kids.
I guess the were going for "quirky rebel"? I don't know, but she was just a selfish asshole and there was nothing enjoyable about watching her mistreat people for no reason.
If it’s any consolation it’s one of the few Netflix shows that was canceled after its first season.

Thanks for saving my time to not check out this show and waste any time. Any other series you recommend on Netflix tho?
I thought Norcos was really good without being over the top violent. I watched The Crown last month, and it was interesting to see how a woman handles power. Godless was worth the watch. And Orange is the New Black can be a little silly at times, but they dedicate so much time to character development that you know their history and personality very intimately.
