"When the weight of the past leans against nothing, and the sky
Is no more than remembered light, and the stories of cirrus
And cumulus come to a close, and all the birds are suspended in flight,
Not every man knows what is waiting for him, or what he shall sing
When the ship he is on slips into darkness, there at the end."
Mark Strand
As a nurse I see alot of people die. Its helpful to read these words. To find shape and color in the words of great minds describing such a tremendous thing.
Not gonna lie this is a little ominous but a good message for those on their last legs. On a brighter note i just ate a whole sleeve of oreos and i'm feeling great!
Definently the best content ive found so far from steemit :)
