RE: Testing the Water - My first Auction on eBay

in #blog7 years ago

I never have bought or posted anything using E-bay. Well, aside from processing job offers in my old job, but let us put that to the side.

I can understand the feeling of novelty you must be experiencing.

Thats half the fun, honestly. When I find something like this it takes me back to when I got this. I don't hold on to things like this, or feel they are worth a fortune because of the memories attached. I would rather send it to someone who will enjoy it like I origionally did.

A healthy approach. I had the exact opposite for the longest time, I used to be overly attached to things. Still am, to a certain degree, but I really started to clean house this year and it feels great. A lot of weight lifted off my shoulders.

Haven't had a lot of things that would have made a pleasant gift for someone else, but the things that did were appreciated, which was a good feeling for me as well.

I used to be the same, but I realized no point in holding on to something that is basically junk to me. I have picked up a few things here and there, some things I have held on to from my childhood, nothing of huge value, but a few bucks here and there.

I actually think that actually owning as little unnecessary things as possible is the best thing to go. Having space to let my mind wonder without it lingering on things is bliss.

Exactly. No need for all the clutter.

Preaching to the choir.

A nice side effect of that is a certain feeling of flexibility if you decide to move or travel a lot.
